Using FitOSC
Quick Start
Complete the first-run setup and start walking in VRChat
The setup wizard appears the first time you open FitOSC. It configures the treadmill connection, walking mode, and display units.
Choose whether to connect a treadmill
- Yes, I want to connect my treadmill continues through treadmill setup.
- No, I don't plan on connecting my treadmill skips the connection steps. Only Override Mode is available without a treadmill.
Select the treadmill type
Choose the Bluetooth protocol used by your treadmill.

|---|---|
| FTMS (Generic) | Most treadmills that use the Bluetooth FTMS standard. |
| WalkingPad | Treadmills that use the WalkingPad-specific protocol. |
Connect the treadmill
Power on the treadmill and put it in pairing mode. Select Scan for Devices, then choose the treadmill from the results.
Select a walking mode
Choose how FitOSC controls your avatar's movement.
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Dynamic Mode | Matches avatar movement to the treadmill's current speed. |
| Override Mode | Uses a fixed walking speed, independent of treadmill input. |

Choose units and finish
Select Metric for km/h, kilometers, and kilograms, or Imperial for mph, miles, and pounds. Select Finish Setup to save your choices.
You can run the wizard again from Onboarding in User settings.
